From the busy streets of Dublin to the tranquility of Donegal is where Singer/Songwriter Maggie Keane finds inspiration producing songs of the finest quality.

Maggie started singing in the folk circuit with Martin Black (of the Black Family). After the birth of her daughter Annie, she started writing her own material and worked with Donal Lunny who produced her first single 'Special'.

She joined forces with Andy McCluskey of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark and was vocalist on his album 'Universal'. She also featured on Noel Brazil's album 'Land of Love' released by Dara Records.

It can confidently be said that Maggie Keane possesses the finest female singing voice in Ireland barr none. On the release of her debut album 'Luna', Mojo Magazine spoke of how "her breathy voice sprinkles moondust" over the musical arrangements.

Her E.P. 'Happy Day' was received with critical acclaim. It was produced by Pat Donne who has worked with the Frames, Paddy Casey, and Damien Dempsey.

Maggie has finished her new album 'Out to the World' and is currently working on her latest album 'New Beginnings', again teaming up with producer Pat Donne. With her ethereal vocals and sophisticated sound, this is one to watch out for.
